@ccm800 Yes
@ccm800 “Mung Beans are a small, oval type of green bean that is high in fiber. When the bean is split in half it is referred to as moong dal” – Foodista
It looks delicious! but that cilantro doesn’t seem tasty lol.
Thank you, Manjula! Lovely recipe as always! I love your videos.
@ccm800 i was gonna ask if its similar to lentils, but lentils are brown, so this is mung beans in their upsprouted form?
Ymmmm…..looks good, thanx dear Manjula for sharin’ this great soup! = )
@ccm800 Yes. Bear in mind that you can get whole green mung beans, or these split yellow ones, which are the same except that they have the green hulls removed.
this looks great!! i’m going to have to try in winter. yummmmm!
delicious!!!!!
@ccm800 moong dal is moong bean that has husk removed also nice in this way but the added husks make it very chewy
Delectable!! Thx so much for this recipe Manjula.
Is Moong dal and mung bean the same thing?
Beautiful!

Thank you, Auntie! I haven’t watched a video for a while, though I am subscribed to you. This looks delicious and I can’t wait to try it!
Thanks for the recipe. I’ll give it a try soon.
Can you please tell why is it important to wash the dal several times until the water becomes clear?
